Jan van Huysum, born April 5, 1682 in Amsterdam, where he died Feb. 8, 1749, is a Dutch painter.

Van Huysum was trained by his father, who was also a still-life painter. He was the last of the distinguished still-life painters active in Holland in the 17th and early 18th centuries and an internationally celebrated artist in his lifetime.
